Our bite-sized mini pies and cookie sandwiches are packed with the finest local, seasonal ingredients and inspired by the classic flavors we loved as kids. Annie grew up at a rustic, rural, all-season resort in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, working in her family’s business from the age of 4. Her first job was to fold napkins after kindergarten; she rose through the ranks to dishwasher, prep cook, server, front desk, reservations, and management. She spent years during and after college trying NOT to be a part of the food and hospitality industry, yet it pulled her right back. After a project management career in green building, and stints in graphic design management, social media marketing, and recession era bootstrapping, she discovered baking and stumbled into inventing the mini cookie pie. In 2010, she started a CSP (Community Supported Pie) and began delivering MiniPies in unique, nostalgic flavors every month to customer’s homes. In 2014, faced with demands too large for her SE Portland bungalow kitchen, she made the jump from home-based baker to a licensed commercial kitchen and a wholesale account with New Seasons Market. Since then she has catered countless events, sold thousands of pies at the Portland Night Market, participated in the International Pinot Noir Celebration (2015 and 2016), and Feast Portland (2015 and 2016).
